Management Team

Udi A. Arad - Chairman
Over 20 years experience in the high-tech industry. Mr. Arad was the cofounder, president & CEO of Ex Libris, a high-growth multinational company, specializing in automated library and information management software, operating in 75 countries. Ex Libris was sold in 2006 to Francisco Partners, a PE fund, for $62M. Arad is a senior partner and board member of Coronis Partners Ltd., an Israeli investment house. Mr. Arad holds a B.Sc. in engineering from the Technion – Israel Institue of Technology and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Gil Lin – CEO
Gil Lin has served as CEO since 1999 and under his leadership and vision IDEA has become the industry leader in providing dependable, cutting-edge and scalable solutions for libraries, archives, museums and information centers. Mr. Lin has been involved in the IT sector since 1989, serving in varied operational and executive management positions: CIO, CEO, director and chairman. He holds a B.Sc. in electrical engineering and computer science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Ori Ainy — VP Sales EMEA
Ori Ainy joined IDEA in July 2008. Prior to joining IDEA he served as sales director at Wizcom Technologies, an international high-tech company that develops innovative electronic gadgets for the consumer and educational markets. Prior to his position at Wizcom, Mr. Ainy served as sales manager for nearly ten years at Ex Libris, a high-growth multinational company, specializing in automated library and information management software. He holds a B.A. in economics and an MBA, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Rahav Barkay — COO
Over 20 years experience in the high-tech industry. Rahav is experienced in multiple disciplines of Telecom Billing systems, Anti-Fraud, Mobile Payment solutions, automation of classified directories as well as project management, account management and software development. Rahav had been directing large scale projects for different global companies in the telecom industry.

Lior Govrin – R&D Manager
Lior Govrin joined IDEA in 2001. He has managed large scale development projects, specializes in computerized viewing systems in large information systems, and has a broad knowledge of databases and textual search systems. Mr. Govrin holds a B.Sc. in software engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Boaz Hadashi - Customer Support Manager
Boaz Hadashi joined IDEA in June 2000 as customer support manager. He laid the foundation for IDEA's support infrastructure and methodologies and professional services, and continues to lead the company effort to excel as a high quality and customer-minded services provider. Mr. Hadashi earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification and holds a B.A.in Musicology.
Omri Ron – Projects Department Manager
Omri Ron is one of the founders of IDEA. Initially, he was part of IDEA’s R&D department and then moved to the projects department and assumed its management. He has been working in the software industry for the last 30 years. Prior to the foundation of IDEA Mr. Ron dealt with ERP systems and also managed large scale shop floor control projects in the plastics industry.
