Sales Support Manager and Market Research Analyst


Job description:

1. Initiate and write-up of professional and marketing materials in English related to the industry and the company’s products, such as:


• Product sheets
• White papers
• Papers and presentations for conferences
• “What’s new in next version”
• Case studies
• Translation of press releases and brochures into English
• Articles for industry magazines
• Corporate newsletter
• Liaise with Marcom manager to produce other marketing materials

2. Provide write ups, manage and maintain the company’s presence in various industry and professional channels, such as:

• Press and industry reviews
• WEB Blogs
• Industry forums (both physical and web based)
• Social networking channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn and others
• Initiating and conducting Web seminars to customers and distributors

3. Sales support:


• Answering tenders, RFPs, customers requirements questions regarding the product
• Support the sales staff and distributors
• Sales training for distributors
• Set up and demonstrate the product to potential and existing customers and distributors abroad within sales process or during conferences and trade shows
• Definition of professional terms for the product and its respective documentation. Provide assistance in writing and checking of documentation.
• May include some directs sales interactions with potential customers


4. Researching and analyzing the market to understand the customer needs, industry standards, market forces, competitive landscape, by:


• Initiating meetings and conversations with existing and potential customers and industry leaders and experts
• Participating in industry forums, conferences and professional standards creation groups
• Identifying and analyzing reports and articles on the marketplace and market trends
• Talking to customer-facing teams such as sales and support
• Evaluating competitive products,
• Keeping tabs on customer behavior.

5. Accordingly desired outputs should be:


• Creating a marketing requirements document (MRD)
• Recommending and prioritizing developments requests and providing directions to the product roadmap
• Indentifying and analyzing existing and emerging international industry standards in the archives, museums and libraries domains
•Competition analysis
•Work closely with product manager and Liaise with development department in communicating product requirements

Job Requirements:


• An expert in the field of archives, collection management systems and related industry standards at either archives or museums
• Experience working in an archive with an archival management system
• Familiarity and in-depth understanding of the differences and similarities of archives, museums and libraries and their respective standards
• English mother tongue - a must
• Excellent English written communication skills
• Technical background or orientation
• Willingness for traveling abroad
• Technical background.
• Strong presentation skills
